We visit the Dewa experience on our trip in May. The rest of the city is of course full of roman remains and walls (and good shops!!). The Shaw family can recommend this as a good, short half term break, coupled with a visit to Chester Zoo or the Blue Planet Aquarium.
In Year 3 History children cover the Anglo Saxons, The Vikings, The Celts and the Romans.
The Show.Me.uk website has some good information pages on these topics:
Anglo Saxons
Celts
Romans
Vikings
